ScrapLs is easy enough for a beginning quilter. It is a great quilt to make from 2½″ jellyroll strips and smaller scraps. Or cut strips from coordinating fabrics for a more controlled look. This quilt looks best when there is strong contrast between the pieces in the blocks. I like to use light fabrics all about the same value. The values for the darker fabrics can range from medium to very dark.
